In this video I use a Bender Ball help me maintain focus on my static hold squat. You can also use a basketball and dribble between while holding this position as this is meant to mimic the basketball stance.
Start by getting into a wide leg squat, passing the small ball between your legs in a figure eight shape.
Time yourself in the hold, start off with 10 seconds, then try again for 20 seconds, then try again for 30 seconds and so on. Work your way up to a minute if possible. You can do these everyday to help build strength and muscle endurance in your legs. You can also incorporate these as an active rest between weighted sets. Mix it up and have fun!
